Damien Dempsey announces Big Top show

DAMIEN Dempsey returns to Limerick for a Live at The Big Top show in The Milk Market on Friday December 8 following up on his sold out show last year.

Damien’s Christmas shows are among the musical highlights of the year nationwide.
After two triumphant sold out shows at Iveagh Gardens in July, Damien announces his longest run of six shows at Vicar Street for Christmas 2023. Both Iveagh and Vicar Street have become a thing of legend for Damien and his devoted gig going tribe. The December Tour will kick off in Limerick and end on New Years Eve in Killarney.

2023 has also seen the first new music from Damien since 2018’s sublime Union album.
Hope Calling is the first single from his yet untitled 2024 new album and is released via Sony Ireland.
As Damien suggests “I believe we must always carry hope in our hearts, hope lives in dreams and imagination and visualisation, and without it we would never solve or create anything, so keep it safe in your heart, always. I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing without hope, it helps us along through life like music does.”

Speaking about the show Mick Dolan says, “If you enjoy a singsong and a good tune Damien’s Christmas shows are a highlight” “one of Ireland’s great performers Damien’s live shows are immense and are not to be missed”.
Tickets are on sale this Friday July 28 from www.dolans.ie
