A GROUP from Limerick recently made the trip to Waterford to attend a class on teaching and training.

One month after the inaugural Erasmus+ ‘Generations Pedalling for Inclusion and Climate Action’ project, a Limerick delegation of the Great Southern Trail (GST) voluntary community group took another trip to Waterford City for a ‘Learning, Teaching, and Training’ gathering.

“It was great to get recognition from Cyclist.ie for our GST members who created Ireland’s first planned Greenway,” said GST Vice Chair Denis Mc Auliffe.

Mr Mc Auliffe added that the group has also received recognition from the European Greenways Association for their voluntary work.
