Limerick people invited to walk the Camino for a good cause

PEOPLE in Limerick are invited to take a long walk in the hot sun for a good cause.

Scheduled to take place between September 24 and October 1, Focus Ireland are challenging adventure enthusiasts to walk 103 kilometres of the 800km Camino de Santiago to raise funds for homelessness services across Ireland.

Focus Ireland helped 557 households in Limerick across 2022, helping 299 to move out of homelessness.

To take part in the challenge, adventurers are asked to raise a minimum of €2,250.
