WITH the season already well up-and-running in the Limerick District League (LDL), the Desmond League will commence its 2023/2024 campaign with a full programme of fixtures at the weekend.
Holders Broadford United, Premier Cup winners Rathkeale, Breska Rovers and Glin appear best of the crop in the Premier League, while recent champions Abbeyfeale United can never be discounted.
In the LDL’s Premier League, there’s a three-way tie involving Aisling Annacotty, Fairview Rangers and Regional United at the top of the Premier League.
