Morning queues on M20 raised with Limerick City and County Council

FINE Gael councillor Daniel Butler has told the local authority that he has been alerted by motorists of the dangers being experienced by drivers in the mornings for those travelling the M20 Cork Road accessing the M7 Dublin Road.

“Queuing often goes back along the M20 Cork Road before Junction 2 Dooradoyle/Rosbrien, spanning nearly a kilometre at peak times.”

“There is traffic queueing being experienced right along the M7 as it is at the Mackey Roundabout for example,” said Cllr Butler, a member of Limerick Council’s Travel and Transportation Strategic Policy Committee.

“My own belief is that Roxboro access should once and for all be opened up as it would sort this issue effectively and others along the M7 Dublin Road.”
