Limerick connections with Broadford the topic of Limerick Historical Society talk

Next meeting of the Limerick Historical Society is on Tuesday November 14 at the Methodist Church 51 O’Connell St.

A talk on Broadford Co. Clare, the Arthur family, and their connections with Limerick City are the topics.

The lecture will be given by Pat O’Brien a native of Broadford.

Pat has written a history of Broadford which was published last year and has already sold out.

He has taught for almost 40 years in Kilkishen National School has an M.A. in history from The University of Limerick.
