YOUNG people and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend the Faculty of Science and Engineering career and degree programme Information evenings for second level students to explore the exciting suite of undergraduate programmes at University of Limerick.

The events, running on Thursday evenings from November to January, will feature in-person recent graduates of programmes in computing, design, engineering, mathematics, and science. They can also be attended virtually by booking via UL.ie/scieng.

Two upcoming evenings on science programmes will be held Thursday 16 and Thursday 23 November, run in conjunction with National Science Week.

Speaking at the launch of the 2023 career information evenings, Professor Kenneth Stanton, executive dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, said: “The career and degree programme information evenings in the Faculty of Science and Engineering are the perfect opportunity for CAO applicants to hear the lived experiences of our graduates, how their education has helped them to progress in their careers and what they enjoyed most about their time at UL. They are also an opportunity to meet with our course directors who can offer guidance and information in terms of course content, career, and co-operative education opportunities.”

A question and answer session will follow the talks and there will be an opportunity to chat with course directors and staff on a one-to-one basis.
