Docklands date for James Blunt this Summer

JAMES Blunt will perform in Limerick for the very first time as part of the Docklands festival on Sunday August 25. Tickets on sale from Wednesday December 13.

The multi award winning artist will perform songs spanning a stellar 19-year career that has spawned over 23 million album sales, a global smash hit with ‘You’re Beautiful’, two Brit Awards and two Ivor Novello Awards, as well as receiving five Grammy Award nominations.

James is back on tour in support of his new album ‘Who We Used To Be’  on Atlantic Records. James and his band will play 12 dates across the UK next Spring before performing Live At the Docklands in Limerick on Sunday August 25. 

“I cannot find the words to say how excited I am to get back out on the road again on tour in 2024” James said. “My new album was incredibly fun to write and record, and some of the new songs will undoubtedly get you up on your feet and dancing again. I’m looking forward to crowd surfing at a venue near you”.

Speaking today at the announcement, Mick Dolan said, “Delighted to welcome James to Limerick for his first show here.

Already announced for Live At The Docklands is Block Rockin’ Beats happening on Friday August 23, making for a bumper Summer weekend of music and dancing in Limerick City.
