THE LADIES of Limerick are invited to attend a special celebration to mark the end of the Christmas season, organised by Women’s Shed Limerick.

The local branch of the women’s shed will host their annual Little Women’s Christmas Party this Saturday (January 6), to mark Little Christmas.

The party will take place in the Clayton Hotel on Saturday evening, and will bring together over 50 members of Women’s Shed Limerick to celebrate the spirit community and camaraderie.

Limerick Women’s Shed was established in 2022 and has grown to amass over 200 members all over the county.

The Little Women’s Christmas Party will feature a four-course meal and will showcase the talents of the women’s shed members.

Women from all walks of life will attend the party, with volunteers on hand on the night to make sure that even women who attend alone will end up chatting to new people and making friends.

Women’s Christmas, celebrated on January 6, is a day when women traditionally gather together and celebrate the end of the festive season and the end of the extra work around the home over the holiday season traditionally undertaken by women.

The Limerick Women’s Shed Little Women’s Christmas Party will take place in the Clayton Hotel on Saturday January 6 from 7pm.

The group are also looking for businesses or individuals who may be interested in donating spot prizes for the event. Those keen to spread some love and contribute to the Women’s Shed, or find out more about attending, can contact womensshedlimerick@gmail.com.
