THERE are two local athletes in the running for Her Sport Awards, which recognise the magnificent achievement of so many leading performers across 2023.
World Para Swimming Champion Róisín Ní Ríain of Drombanna is short-listed for Young Athlete of the Year, while Olympian Sarah Lavin is among those in the running for Personality of the Year.
