Munster to face Northampton once again in Champions Cup

Munster’s Thomond Park.

MUNSTER have been paired away to Northampton Saints in the last 16 of the Champions Cup.

It’s a repeat of the weekend fixture in which Munster fell to a frustrating 23-26 loss at Thomond Park.

The upcoming tie in April will be staged at Franklin’s Stadium, which has a capacity of 15,250. There was a full-house of around 25,000 in Limerick on Saturday.

The winners will progress to a quarter-final against The Bulls or Lyon later the same month.

Next-up for Munster is a trip Páirc Uí Chaoimh on February, Saturday 3 and an attractive outing with Super Rugby Champions Crusaders.
