Down to the quarter-final stages of the Schools Boys Senior Cup

THERE are just six teams remaining in the Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup with two quarter-final clashes set to take place at Thomond Park on Thursday next (February 8).

St Munchin’s College will take on Bandon Grammar School after the Limerick school lost 15-5 to CBC in the semi-final qualifier, while Bandon Grammar School got the better of Ardscoil Rís 23-17 to advance to the quarter-finals.

In the other quarter-final tie, Crescent College Comprehensive will meet Rockwell College.

Crescent lost 14-3 to PBC in Virgin Media Park in the other semi-final qualifier while Rockwell overcame Glenstal Abbey 18-15 in a thriller at the Cork venue.

Both CBC and PBC have advanced directly to the semi-finals.
