Former mayor calls for road in Abbeyfeale to be included in roads plan

A FORMER Limerick Fianna Fáil mayor, has called on Limerick City and County Council to include an Abbeyfeale road in the 2024 roads plan.

Former mayor and Councillor Francis Foley called for New Street, Abbeyfeale, to be included in the 2024 Roads Programme, as it will be part of the Town Plan.

Cllr Foley was informed at a recent Newcastle West area local authority meeting that the proposal is being considered for the 2024 schedule of district works subject to department funding.
