Limerick Gardaí appeal for information into “unusual” crime

Garda John Finnerty.

GARDAÍ are appealing for information after an “unusual” crime in Ferrybridge, Clarina, County Limerick, last Thursday (February 1).

Between 6.30pm and 10.30pm, 28 bales of haylage were stolen from outside a house after being delivered by a courier earlier that day.

Gardaí believe the thief would have utilised a van or a small truck and it would have taken them around 20 minutes to load up the bales if they were acting alone.

Garda John Finnerty said that a theft of this nature is “a very unusual crime”.

He appealed for anyone who may have witnessed anything or who may have information to contact Gardaí in Patrickswell on 061 355 103.
