Shannon Airport staff honoured for combined 2,200 years of service

Staff at Shannon Airport were lauded for their two millennia of service.

STAFF at the Shannon Airport Group were recently honoured for their combined service of over 2,200 years to the business.

At the ceremonies, 74 staff members from Shannon Airport and across the Shannon Airport Group were honoured for their dedicated contributions.

Two staff members received awards for 20 years of service, 27 received awards for 25 years of service, and 21 people were commended for 30 years of working for the airport group. 13 were honoured for 35 years at Shannon Airport. Seven staff members were honoured for four decades of service.

Staff from a range of departments across airport were lauded at the ceremony, including airport operations, the airport police and fire service, airport search unit, aviation development, commercial properties, commercial services, corporate affairs, general management, engineering, finance, human resources, retail, and procurement.
