GARDAÍ at Roxboro Road are investigating the theft of a phone from a woman’s home in Dooradoyle earlier this month.

The theft occurred on Saturday, February 10 when the woman, aged in her mid-20s, was having a get-together at her home.

The following morning, according to Gardaí, the woman noticed that her iPhone had been taken from her home.

She used the Find My iPhone app and the phone was located at an address in the city centre.

Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Ber Leetch advised anyone having guests over lock away any valuable property beforehand and “be very careful of who you invite into your home”.
