World Premier from St. Saviours Drama Group

Playing at Belltable on Thursday March 21 and Friday March 22.

FORMED in 2011 in the CIE Club, St. Saviours Community Drama Group began as a pilot community drama group with six members and few expectations. Today the drama group is one of Limericks most active Community Drama Groups, with 14 previous sell-out shows under their belt, three short films and a STAR Award nomination.

Their new play ‘House of Secrets’ plays at Belltable on Thursday March 21 and Friday March 22.

The story: The Folk on Carey’s Hill are gathering for the wake of Seamus Duggan. Just a respectable service to celebrate the life of a hard working farmer, cherished by his loving family. But when his son, Michael returns from Texas, the secrets of the tight family unit are shattered by a murder. Nobody can leave the crime scene. Nobody is safe. And, everyone is a suspect.

Speaking about the World Premier of ‘House of Secrets’, Director Karen Fitzgibbon told Limerick Post, “This brand new dramedy explores the complexity of families, their relationships, and how they respond when an inheritance is dangling in the air. St. Saviours embark on a new journey with this genre of theatre.

“Written by cast member Tadgh Collopy, this is a bold and brave move for St. Saviours once again! The challenge never seems to faze this group and this year is no exception!”
