RESIDENTS, schools, and community groups are being urged to register for Team Limerick Clean-Up 9 (TLC9) and make the annual spring clean event the “ultimate” Treaty spring clean.

The event will take place on Good Friday (March 29), bringing people from all areas of Limerick together for the united cause of improving the appearance of local areas.

Mayor of Limerick Gerald Mitchell said that TLC “embodies our collective dedication to preserving the beauty and cleanliness of our city and county.

It is a grassroots community endeavour helping to foster civic pride and environmental responsibility”.

The event is sponsored by the JP McManus Benevolent Fund, Limerick City and County Council, and Mr Binman.
