THE Diocese of Limerick has announced its annual pilgrimage to Lourdes, taking place from June 20 to 25.

The five-night pilgrimage will be led by Bishop of Limerick Brendan Leahy.

Organisers say direct flights leave from Shannon, and the pilgrimage will include visits to the places associated with Saint Bernadette and a guided walking tour of the Grotto Domain visiting the grotto, the baths, the basilicas, and the stations of the cross.

Pilgrims will also have the opportunity to take part in the Blessing of the Sick, the Blessed Sacrament, and the torchlight processions.

More details and bookings can be made on joewalshtours.ie or by calling 01 241 0800.
