LIMERICK people are being encouraged to have a cuppa for a good cause this month.

The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) has launched its 15th annual Drink Tea for MND fundraiser to raise vital money for people across Ireland living with motor neurone disease.

More than 450 people in Ireland are currently living with the disease including Galway man Ollie Johnston, who is fronting this year’s campaign.

Someone in Ireland is diagnosed with motor neurone disease every two days.

To get involved, people can register to host a coffee morning on IMNDA’s website (https://www.imnda.ie/event/drink-tea-for-mnd/home).
