Sanctuary Runners to mark five years of solidarity with this weekend’s Great Limerick Run

Limerick's Sanctuary Runners will celebrate five years this May Bank Holiday Weekend.

THE community-minded racers at Sanctuary Runners will be marking five years of running in solidarity with the Treaty City this year as they take on another Great Limerick Run over the May Bank Holiday.

The Mid West branch of the group are calling on all walkers, runners, joggers, and supporters to join them this year in showcasing “the welcome and friendship at the heart of Ireland’s sporting capital”.

On the run up to the big day, the Sanctuary Runners are inviting those in Limerick to take part in their twice weekly runs – Mondays at 6.30pm and Saturdays from 9.30am at St Michael’s Boat Club.
