Road closures as part of Riverfest celebrations

THERE will be a number of road closures across the city this weekend to help facilitate the Riverfest fun in the sun.

Much of Limerick City will be closed to traffic between 9am and 2pm for the annual Great Limerick Run on Sunday (May 5).

While areas around the riverside, including Howley’s Quay, Harvey’s Quay, Honan’s Quay, Bishop’s Quay, and Russel Quay will be closed from 5pm to 11pm Friday to Sunday.

Merchant’s Quay will be closed 5pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
