Injury blow for Munster as Hodnett ruled out of Connacht clash

John Hodnett is an injury concern for Munster.

JOHN Hodnett has been ruled out of Munster’s URC tussle with Connacht at Thomond Park on Saturday (5.15pm).

The back-row is continuing to rehab from a leg injury and will be unavailable this weekend, Munster Rugby confirmed.

Meanwhile, Josh Wycherley is following the graduated return to play protocols and his availability will be determined later in the week.

There is good news, however, for Liam Coombes as he is back in the mix following a shoulder injury.
