Limerick students raise over €30,000 after eye-opening trip

STUDENTS from Coláiste Mhuire embraced the spirit of kindness and giving after an eye-opening trip to Kolkata.

The charitable students raised a staggering €35,542 after the trip, which was donated to the Hope Foundation.

Teachers at the school congratulated the kind-hearted students on “a fantastic achievement.

“We are all very proud of your amazing dedication and work for such a fantastic cause.”

The large sum was donated to Charlie of the Hope Foundation, who visited the Askeaton school to speak to students about the Hope Immersion Programme for 2025.
