MICK Hanley Park in Askeaton will host the centerpiece of the Desmond League season with Cup Final involving Broadford United and Rathkeale on Friday next, kick-off 7pm.
The winners will succeed Dromore United as champions.
Broadford squeezed past Glin Rovers, 2-1, in the first of the semi-finals, with goals from Colm Ryan and Adam O’Kelly. The pair, along with Bryan Hannigan, Seán Brosnan, and Joe McAuliffe, are likely to lead the B’ford challenge.
Rathkeale edged out Granagh United (1-0) in the other semi, with the only goal scored by Dean Maune, who, along with Mikey Morrissey Alan O’Shea, Eoin Barry, and Gary Enright, will be among the key players for The Deelsiders.
