LIMERICK homeowners are gone solar with 1,170 solar panel installations in 2024, according to new data from the SEAI.
Solar panel installations with grant support increased by 27.6 per cent in Limerick last year, as more households embrace solar energy to cut their energy bills.
Nationally, there was a 24 per cent increase in solar systems installed, with every county seeing an increase on 2023 figures.
The increase in installations last year came after the maximum SEAI grant for solar panels was reduced in January 2024 by โฌ300 to โฌ2,100.
