SOULFUL songster and actor Liam Oโ€™Brien was using his talents to spread cheer and good will when he presented a cheque from his charity Crooning at Christmas show to Mount Saint Alphonsus rector, Father Brian Nolan, in January.

The cheque presentation came following the 20th anniversary of Liamโ€™s popular Crooning at Christmas, which took place in Dolanโ€™s on December 23.

Over the past two decades, the show has helped raise almost โ‚ฌ20,000 for the Limerick Christmas Hamper Appeal, providing help to families in need across the county.
