TWO people are being questioned by Gardaรญ this Thursday morning (May 8) after authorities seized cannabis with an estimated value of between โ‚ฌ7million and โ‚ฌ10million in south east County Clare.

The drugs were recovered in the Meelick area, a short distance from the Limerick border.

The seizure was part of a planned joint operation led by Revenue and Customs officials and Gardaรญ attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, supported by colleagues attached to the Limerick Garda Divisional Drugs Unit and Gardaรญ in County Clare.
