A HIGHLIGHT event of the year is on its way for one Limerick village. The anticipated Castletown Festival returns this year from August 1 to 4.

Despite being a village with no shop, church, or pub, Castletown, County Limerick – well known for its viral sensation video of the Donkey Derby, with over 1.4 million views on YouTube – will be the place to be with its social event of the year with performances from Shaun O’Dowd, Chasing Abbey, One For The Road, Seamus Moore, the Gerry Cinnamon Experience, Super Ceili, and more.
