YOUNG people with Limerick Youth Service (LYS) raised funds for Milford Care Centre as a part of a recycling project.
Led by learners with the LYS Catering Skills Project, the teenagers collected recyclable plastic bottles from their peers, staff, and patrons at the LYS Community Training Centre and raised a total of €545.
Thanking the group, John Higgins of Milford Care Centre said: “Sadly, we all know of someone close to us who has availed of the services at Milford and it is through acts of kindness like yours, that Milford can provide its care and support to patients and their families.”
