LIMERICK City and County Council has been questioned on any plans it has in place to finish the footpath across from the Four Elms in Drombanna that was put in place in 2023 but not finished.
Fianna Fáil councillor Catherine Slattery said that this footpath needs to be extended towards the road junction serving Robin Hill Road entry point.
The Council’s Roads Department said it will submit a new application to the National Transport Authority (NTA) for funding to extend the work already done in Drombanna.
“If the application is successful, we will carry out the works,” the Council confirmed.
