Gardaí investigating Limerick grocery shop burglary

GARDAÍ are asking for assistance following a burglary at Buckley’s Grocery Shop on Main Street in Ballylanders.

The burglary took place in the early hours of Saturday November 15 about 1.50am.

It is believed three intruders smashed the glass door of the store using a hammer. They targeted the cigarette cabinet, but were disturbed by the alarm and the shop owners.

Nothing was stolen and the would-be burglars fled in a dark-coloured car with a roof rack.

The intruders were described as three men of slight build wearing black clothing.
