FUN fur and feathers are the order of the day for a Santa visit at Stonehall Wildlife Park in Curraghchase. Santa’s beard will be the least hairy item on view for a magical visit where families can get up close with an array of animals with their homes all decorated for the season.
Santa’s helpers will guide visitors to the grotto to meet Santa who will be checking lots of names on the good list throughout his very busy month. And of course, Rudloph is waiting in his paddock where he is resting with all of the other Reindeers waiting for their big adventure on Christmas Eve. Tickets are prebooked and prepaid only.
For one day only, Saturday December 13, there’s a chance to visit Santa for free or give a charity donation. The place to be is the Liskennett Equine Centre in Granagh.
Horse riding, carriage rides, face painting, meet with Santa and story telling with Mrs Claus. A number of festival stalls and a food truck will be on site. This event is open to families with children/adults with Autism and/Intellectual Disabilities, anyone attached to SJF and/or users of Liskennett throughout the year
Busy he may be, but Santa’s taking the time again this year to welcome visitors while stationed at the Old Schoolhouse, in Colmanswell. Visitors can see Santa in his Igloo and peek into the Elves’ Workshop. Mrs Claus and various cheeky elves will keep everyone entertained there with story-telling.
Come and see his arctic animals, post a letter, chat with him and get a look into Santa’s Bedroom. There’s mulled wine for adults – but not if they’re on the naughty list so better watch out.
