ONE of Limerick City’s notable legal firms has named a new partner, in the form of Claire Tuohy.
Ms Touhy joined the firm’s Limerick office in 2017 as a senior solicitor, having previously worked with “a leading private client team in the UK”, a statement from Holmes O’Malley Sexton announcing the legal eagle’s partnership promotion confirmed.
A former law and European studies student at the University of Limerick, Ms Touhy worked as a solicitor with the likes of Bank of Ireland, Newitsons, and North Ainley before arriving at Holmes O’Malley Sexton.
“She is a highly experienced probate lawyer, specialising in wills, probate, trusts, and inheritance tax planning, with particular expertise in international estate planning and the complexities of cross-border estates,” a statement from the firm read.
Commenting on the announcement, Homes O’Malley Sexton managing partner Harry Fehily said that “Claire’s promotion reflects the strong momentum behind our growth and our continued commitment to investing in exceptional talent to meet our clients’ needs”.
“We are delighted to welcome Claire to the partnership as we further develop and expand our private wealth offering in Ireland. Her expertise, professionalism, and practical approach will significantly strengthen our capabilities and support the delivery of outstanding advice and meaningful results for our clients.”
