LIMERICK communities are being encouraged to get active every day throughout the month of May, kicking off next week, to raise vital funds for heart health.
Allcare, Hickey’s and McCauley Pharmacies, part of the Uniphar Group, are proud to partner with the Irish Heart Foundation to launch the nationwide “Move Every Day in May” campaign with a fundraising target of €100,000.
According to the Irish Heart Foundation, approximately 24,000 people in Limerick are living with a cardiovascular condition, highlighting the urgent need for awareness, prevention and support locally.
Participants will receive a movement tracker to log daily activity and stay motivated, while individuals and pharmacy teams can create their own iDonate fundraising pages.
