Harris harrassed again


GARDAI had to protect the statue of Limerick legend Richard Harris on Bedford Row in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Three young men were arrested after they were apprehended trying to pour cement over the statue.

This is the third attack on the statue which has endured a tumultuous time since being erected in September 2007.

In the previous attacks the movie idol was tagged using silver spray paint as well having its sword damaged.

The latest incident is being investigated by Gardai those arrested were released without charge on Tuesday morning.
