A man has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault in Limerick.
The incident occured on O’Callaghan Strand around 1am Friday morning.
A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being detained at Henry Street Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The woman has been sent for assessment at the sexual assault clinic in Cork.
