Kiernan fronts Jazzypsy

SPEAKeasyJazz at Shannon Rowing Club are set to see in 2010 in style, inviting Jazzypsy to the floor with an eclectic mix of latin and swing, blues and jazz. Thursday January 14 from 9.30pm begins the new season of live performance and late music.

“Jazzypsy is a local outfit, fronted by Louise Kiernan..a charming songstress who regularly sings with the folks down at the Limerick Jazz Workshops,” says Andrew Curtain, PRO for SpeakeasyJazz. “With Louise on the night will be Bandi and Andreas Varady, bass and guitar respectively, a father-son duo whom you may have seen wowing the crowds in the marketplace with their beautiful, graceful and very groovy Jazz guitar riffs”.

Later, DJ Leon will take over and keep the dancefloor hopping to all kinds of radical swing and jazz tunes.
