Nissan Micra supporting Breast Cancer Ireland for Micras 30th Anniversary

Over the years, the Micra has been and remains one of Ireland’s most popular city cars with just short of 100,000 Micras sold in Ireland since its launch in 1983. Throughout those 30 years the Micra has undergone many facelifts and changes but the ethos of the car is still the same today as it was back in 1983. This is a car that is enjoyable to drive, economical to run, reliable, and packed full of innovative specification to enhance the driving and ownership experience.

To celebrate the success of the car that has everything, and to mark the occasion Nissan has decided to give something back and is joining the drive for Breast Cancer Research by supporting Breast Cancer Ireland.

Breast Cancer Ireland is a charity established to raise vital funding to support research into Breast Cancer. Under the direction of surgeon Professor Arnold K Hill, the goal at Breast Cancer Ireland is to seek to transform breast cancer from often being a fatal disease, to a chronic illness, that can be maintained long term through treatment.

As part of the association between Nissan Micra and Breast Cancer Ireland and in an effort to raise vital funding for the charity Nissan dealers such as Donal Ryan Motor group in Nenagh is hosting a Nissan Micra Pink week until this Saturday November 24. During Nissan Micra Pink Week €50 will be donated to Breast Cancer Ireland for every Micra test-drive taken there.
