Limerick woman president of Swim Ireland

Limerick SC (1)

THE children of Limerick Swimming Club congratulated Limerick woman Mary Phelan on her appointment as president of Swim Ireland. From Ballinacurra Gardens, Phelan is the first female president of Swim Ireland to have come from Limerick. Mary has made a huge contribution to swimming in Limerick over the past 13 years. She is involved with Seal Swimming Club in UL and works closely with Limerick Swimming Club. Along with all of her presiding duties, Phelan still finds the time to volunteer with the Special Olympics, the Munster branch of Swim Ireland and Swim Ireland’s National Competitions Committee.
