BOTTOM Dog continues its series of ‘read-only’ plays at No. 1 Pery Hotel & Spa on Sunday nights this weekend, Sunday 23 at 8pm. With war the theme in the light of WW1’s 100 year anniversary and Armistice Day falling in November, Noel Coward’s ‘Post Mortem’ is the feature.
Coward and a cast with Marie Boylan, Myles Breen, Dave Griffin, Meg Hennessy, Liam O’Brien and more are directed by Martin Maguire, an experienced actor and director in his own right.

As usual, entry is a pay what you can policy.

“Bottom Dog has always produced quality theatre that’s accessible and affordable”, explained this theatre company’s Myles Breen who directed Shaw last week. “That’s why people will be able to make up their own price on this occasion. This has been made possible this year by the generosity and support of No.1 Pery Square Townhouse who have come onboard to support the project.

“A special thanks goes to Sheila Deegan, Lizanne, Susan and all at the Limerick Arts Office who have been strong supporters for six years now of rehearsed readings by Bottom Dog in the city.”

Mike Burke, production manager, makes the point that “we are especially grateful for the incredibly generous time and talent donated by our experienced directors and casts.
“Everyone involved is subsidising the project with their involvement and it literally couldn’t happen without them”.
