IRISH Chamber Orchestra with soprano Ailish Tynan “brought the house down in both Bregenz and Wiesbaden with a Christmas programme that delighted audiences in excess of 1,600 at each venue”.
International plans are tipped for 2015 and beyond.
The orchestra is back for this week’s concerts with Ailish tonight at St. FinBarre’s Cathedral, Cork and tomorrow, at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Limerick. Book at www.uch.ie or catch a ticket on door, 8pm.
‘Joyeux Noel’ is festive and French with classics by Saint-Saëns, Vivaldi, Francaix and Debussy . The soprano sings the sensational ‘Les Illuminations’ by Britten alongside Christmas carols.
