INVESTIGATIONS are underway by Gardai in Bruff after reports of a man brandishing a firearm around Cappamore were made this week.
Emergency 999 calls were made by a number of locals after a male was seen on Tuesday afternoon with a gun in the Main Street.

It is understood that the firearm was not discharged in the village but Bruff Gardai are making inquiries to ascertain the identity of the individual involved.
No arrest have been made.
