THE Munster Slam Championships and All-Ireland heats will take place at Ó Bhéal in Cork on Monday 7 next. All poets eager to participate should email their name and a short performance biog to info@obheal.ie.
As per previous years, there will be two knockout rounds on the night, with six poets progressing to the second round. A panel of judges including a guest poet,will score participants out of 10 each for Performance. Content and Timing – up to a maximum of three minutes – and Audience Reaction.
One winner will be declared Munster Slam Champ, and both the winner and runner up will represent Munster in the All-Ireland Poetry Slam which is will take place in Ulster this year. See http://youtu.be/H2JKoCqxnwI
