CHOKE Comedy formed in 2008 and now, Limerick’s comedy improv troupe, will celebrate their 10th birthday this Friday April 20 in Chez le Fab on Arthur’s Quay.

In that ten years they’ve toured the length and breadth of the country, played festivals such as The Electric Picnic, Body and Soul, enjoyed performance residences, won awards and the hearts of audiences young and old. Always delivering a high energy, hilarious improv show where nothing is rehearsed and everything is created in the spur of the moment, Choke unleash an improvised tour-de-force of comedic creativity.

Expect the unexpected as Choke members: Tracy Aspel, Ann Blake, Myles Breen, Charlie Cassey, John Loftus and Norma Lowney develop characters, scenes, locations and fantastic stories from even the slightest of audience suggestions. With musical accompaniment from Matt Cannon, this Choke Comedy 10th birthday bash promises a night of celebration, improv fun and song.
