McMahon reaches All-Ireland Senior Handball Final

There was more success for Limerick’s Martina McMahon as she reached the All-Ireland Ladies Senior Singles Handball Final with a comprehensive victory on Saturday.

McMahon beat Cork’s Aishling O’Keeffe 2-0 (21-0, 21-2) at Croke Park to book her spot in the decider.

She will face more Cork opposition, Catriona Casey, in the final on September 7. Casey also had a convincing win her semi final when she beat Kilkenny’s Ciara Mahon 2-0 (21-3, 21-2).

The final will see the duo renew a rivalry that has been the highlight of ladies handball in recent years.
