Geraldines Awarded Club Mark Star Award

GERALDINES AFC have been awarded the FAI Club Mark award this week and become the first Limerick District League to be presented with the award.

The Garryowen Green based club announced the news on their official Facebook page on Tuesday evening.

“All in Geraldines AFC were delighted to be awarded the FAI Club Mark award this week.The FAI Club Mark is an award for grassroots clubs based on best practice in their governance, management and administration.”

It is recognition of the club’s dedication to off-field management including several schoolboy teams currently catered for. The programme encourages all clubs within the system to improve their off-the-field operations and will support Geraldines during the process.

FAI Regional Development Officer Jason O’Connor was instrumental in aiding the club with the application process.
