LEO Limerick is offering a range of supports to support local employers during reopening including online training and one to one specialist meetings.

Booking are now open for a HR and Employment Law seminar on Friday the 1st of October.

Caroline Reidy from The HR Suite will lead a HR & Employment Law training session on the 1st of October 2021 which will update employers on best practise HR,  return to work protocol and relevant HR policies employers need to implement.

“As an SME or business owner facing the ongoing challenges of the return to work and managing people living and working with COVD, it is crucial to stay up to date and informed of all the legislative requirements.”

The 2 hour session will cover the COVID19 updates that relate to the workplace, New Statutory Sick Pay Scheme, the Right to Disconnect, New code of Practice on Bullying at Work and the Family Leave and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2021 and a Q&A session.

Mike Cantwell, Head of LEO and Innovate  “The new SME Taskforce developed by Limerick City and County Council in Innovate Limerick focuses on the needs of small businesses and service providers in our city, towns and villages.”

The taskforce, Chaired by the Mayor Daniel Butler requested that LEO Limerick schedule additional free business advice clinics and mentoring to support businesses through reopening as well as training on HR and financial returns.  The webinars also help business owners network and learn from employers with similar challenges.
