Students from across the Mid-West region gathered recently at the Clinical Education and Research Centre (CERC) at UHL to help launch this year’s virtual Junior Health Sciences ‘Early Careers’ Event 2022.
Careers in healthcare will take centre-stage at the virtual event on March 1st and 2nd which is aimed at Transition Year and Fifth Year students who would like to learn more about a career in healthcare.
More than 20 healthcare professions will be showcased at the second annual event organised by the Health Sciences Academy with Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board and Limerick Education Centre. Students will hear from clinical staff from UL Hospitals Group and HSE Mid-West Community Healthcare, as well as academic staff and students from the health programmes at University of Limerick who will provide workplace insights, guidance on subject choices and career opportunities.
Special guest is Spin SW broadcaster Louise Cantillon and there will be ample opportunities for Q&As and engagement with other guests.
All students are welcome, and registration is essential, at https://www.ul.ie/hsa/upcoming-events #SeeYourFuture
