Planning appeal over Abbeyfeale housing development

An Bord Pleanála has approved plans for the development.

PLANS to build 68 new homes in Abbeyfeale have stalled following an appeal to An Bord Pleanála on aspects the proposal.

HRP Construction Ltd propose to build the 44 houses and 28 apartments at St Ita’s Road. The entire development is two storeys in height.

The appeal is on behalf of the Hill Road Residents’ Association and claims that the plan does not supply sufficient information and is “not in the interests of proper planning and sustainable development in Abbeyfeale”.

A decision on the appeal will be made by An Bord Pleanála by August 2.
